400 Metre Interval Run

  1. Warm up: 1 mile warm gentle run and stretches.
  2. Run 400 metre at maximum speed.
  3. Recovery: 2 minutes (reduce recovery time as you get fitter).
  4. Repeat 2 & 3 10 times.
  5. Cool down: 1 mile gentle run/walk and stretches (hold stretches for longer after the session).
